WEST Motor Freight's roots go back for more than 100 years, unlike many of today's truckload carriers that have sprung up as a result of deregulation in 1980. The original founder began hauling freight by horse and wagon in 1907. He started a philosophy of commitment that has become a tradition at WEST.In 1988, that tradition passed to the company's present owner, Albert L. Evans Jr., and his family.
