Publishing - West Point, New York, United States
The West Point Press is the publishing arm of the United States Military Academy at West Point. It embodies and advances the Academy's mission and core values by publishing practical knowledge to students, scholars, and leaders around the world. The Press is a partner for USMA faculty and staff wishing to disseminate the results of their research. However, authors do not have to work for West Point to publish with the press. The Press' imprint is controlled by an editorial board composed of USMA faculty scholars. Under the board's guidance, the Press offers an innovative range of print and electronic publications to fulfill the evolving needs of scholars, students, authors, leaders, and readers. Works published under the West Point crest reflect a commitment to excellence through rigorous evaluation, meticulous editing, and thoughtful design. The Press publishes works from the disciplines of STEM, the humanities, and the social sciences with original and highly relevant work that leverages faculty strengths involving cybersecurity, military law, military history and cartography, politics, counterterrorism and security, leadership, leader development, and STEM. The Press also publishes works focusing on or featuring the United States Military Academy.
