ACHSA CA NV is the largest West Coast Chapter of the national organization ACHSA. Our members share the unique challenge of providing medical, mental health and dental health care for incarcerated individuals. We are a multidisciplinary organization, and are in support of the California Jail Directors Organization. We provide web services to manage the new listserv forum for the directors group. We have representatives from a majority of the 58 County Jail Health services, and with the CCHCS division of the CDCR. Annually CA NV ACHSA organizes a multidisciplinary correctional health care oriented conference, alternating odd years in NorCal, and even years in SoCal. The conferences are informative, provide excellent networking opportunity, and we continue to grow! Join us!
