Western Region Social Service Forum (WRSSF) works with 16 Partner NGOs of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. WRSSF acts as a Coordinating and Facilitating Organization which inspires, animates, supports and promotes the developmental interventions of 16 Diocesan Social Service Society partners for the integral development of people so that they may individually and collectively reach the fullness of their growth. The beneficiaries are not based on any bias to caste, gender, religion, creed or linguistic groups. The Organization implements programs based on the developmental needs of the four zones of its operational area- Gujarat, Marathwada, Konkan and Vidharbha. WRSSF helps the partner organizations to build up strong organization system by formulating relevant policies, systems and procedures. It also gives hand holding support to the partner organizations on various thematic areas such as Local Resource Mobilization, Strategic Planning, Project Implementation etc. based on the need of each partner organization. WRSSF helps its partner organizations to sustain the program by networking with Government, Corporate and Funding organizations. WRSSF has been promoting developmental intervention and building capacities of the partner organization on various social issues such as HIV/AIDS, Farmers suicides, Human Trafficking, Right to Food, Livelihood options, Human made and natural disaster etc.
