Western Sydney Arts Alliance is made up of over 30 arts and cultural organisations. We seek to improve the lives of the people in Western Sydney, the most culturally and socio-economically diverse region in Australia, through arts, culture and creativity. Western Sydney artists alongside arts and cultural organisations tell authentic Australian stories that attract local, national, and international audiences. With the Aerotropolis and other significant infrastructure investments, the Western Sydney Arts Alliance is the best place to advocate for arts and culture in the growing region.The objectives of the Western Sydney Arts Alliance:- Respect First Nations culture in all its forms across the region and beyond.- Shine a light on arts, culture and creativity in Western Sydney.- Promote the mental health benefits of a creative life for Western Sydney communities.- Create innovative education pathways for ‘future jobs' for people in the region.- Build community resilience through arts, culture and creativity in diverse communities.- Have a unified voice and ensure that we influence decision-makers regarding the future development of the region.- Shift perceptions of arts, culture and creativity in Western Sydney.
