West'ival, een gratis driedaags openluchtfestival op het Mercatorplein in het hart van bruisend Amsterdam West, biedt korte films en bioscoopfilms, live muziek, kunst en een creatieve atmosfeer in de sterk opkomende Mercatorbuurt. \\Stichting West'ival heeft als doel de verschillende bewoners uit de Mercatorbuurt, Amsterdam West en Amsterdam nader tot elkaar te brengen en de buurt rond het Mercatorplein, die steeds gezelliger en beter bekend wordt, een positieve impuls te geven. Het festival is een plek waar bezoekers van verschillende nationaliteiten en culturen elkaar kunnen ontmoeten en genieten van kwaliteitsfilms, live muziek en tentoonstellingen. \\In English:\West'ival, a free three day open air festival held on the Mercatorplein in the heart of Amsterdam West, offers visitors short and feature length film, live music, art, and a creative atmosphere in which to enjoy one of Amsterdam's great neighborhoods.\\Stichting West'ival's mission is to bring together the residents of the Mercator neighborhood, Amsterdam West, and Amsterdam, to continue contributing to the positive development in the neighborhood.
