Westminster Chamber Music Workshop Details
The Westminster Chamber Music Workshop is an opportunity for local amateur musicians 18 and older to collaborate, perform, and study choral and chamber music, and for residents of Westminster and the nearby community to enjoy a week of music by friends and neighbors. The week-long Workshop features a series of evening events for two tracks: choral and instrumental. The Chamber Choir will rehearse nightly, performing several works on the final concert at the end of the week. String players and pianists will learn the intricacies of playing in a small ensemble and the art of making music together. Chamber groups will receive nightly coachings and will be given the opportunity to perform a select work on the final concert.All Workshop participants will gather for a special event to be held each evening following coachings and rehearsals. These events will include lectures and performances by the faculty, presentations by guest artists, masterclasses, and more, all open to the public and free of charge.For more, please visit: http://www.westminsterchambermusic.org.
