Westwater Resources (WWR) is focused on developing battery-grade graphite for batteries used in transportation, energy storage and consumer electronics applications. The Company's Coosa Graphite Project is the most advanced natural flake graphite project in the contiguous United States. Our associated Coosa Graphite Deposit is located across 41,900 acres in east-central Alabama. Ongoing operations of a pilot program is producing battery-grade graphite products in quantities that facilitate qualification testing at potential customers. Westwater recently commenced a Definitive Feasibility Study that will also utilize the pilot program data to provide construction specifications and cost estimates for a commercial scale graphite processing plant to be built in 2021 and 2022.
