Our Vision:The Wetaskiwin Soccer Club is an active, dynamic soccer club, of which we are fiercely proud. We are committed to high levels of coaching and refereeing. With trust and respect, we encourage strong involvement by parents and the community. We foster enjoyment for players, parents, coaches, referees and volunteers. We are a volunteer-based organization that is committed to spreading the joy of soccer in our community! We hope that our players are as excited as we are to start playing soccer as soon as the fields are dry! We have several exciting new things coming this year including training clinics, keeper clinics, a soccer tournament, and a second season of indoor soccer in the fall! As always, we appreciate all feedback and input given to the club, and we look forward to another great season of outdoor soccer!At the beginning of each season, parents are expected to sign up for one Volunteer Activity per family. Positions are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis, and volunteers will be contacted by email or phone 1-2 weeks in advance of the position start date.Please consider donating some of your extra time to the WSC! For more information, please contact Tamara at registrar@wetaskiwinsoccer.org. The WSC has teams from U4-U18, depending on player registration. For U12-U18, if there are not enough players to make a separate girls team, girls will have the option to join the boys league to become a co-ed team. We run an Outdoor Soccer League from April - June and an Indoor Soccer League from October - March. All of our teams are considered "community league" or "Tier IV" focused mainly on developing our players.
