Founded in 2009, Wham! Arts is a production house conceptualized by K. S. Ali and Adflick Demitrius who had been great advocates of the local theatrical and drama fields. Under the tutelage of the two, the production house has produced young dynamic drama activists like Siti Nur Fatiha Junaidi, Syafie Mustafa, Zachariah Aidin Druckman & Azhann Rosmin.Wham Arts! become a dynamic production house specializing in numerous dramatic and theatrical projects. Looking to become a prominent key player in Malaysian drama and theatrical industry by not only partaking in the industry, Wham! Arts is also also producing literary works and milestones in three specific areas of theatrical productions, applied drama, drama training / education, theatrical experimentation. The core of the production house has always been to educate and rejuvenate the theatrical and dramatic appreciation as well as creating not only performers, but thinkers and philosophers who would become the intellectual properties of the nation.Wham! Arts Production House & Lab Ratters Inc. (it is what the employees branded themselves) continuously creating new ideas and styles to reach its audiences. Contrary to any other theatre performances, playwrights by Wham! Arts Production House and Lab Ratters Inc. interact with the live audiences, stirring them away from the normal, passive audiences they would be at any other theatre performances in Malaysia. Their interactions are essential in the experimental theatres and its genres to fully shed a light on the audiences' thoughts and critical thinking skills. Experimental theatre is what it is, experimenting and trying something new in anything and everything. Wham Arts Production House and Lab Ratters Inc. through Lab Rats Theatre Series is hoping to create a more active relationship between the performances and the audiences, leaving the audiences thinking before, during and after the performances.
