The Whanganui Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1885 and, as an accredited Chamber of Commerce, is part of a respected national and global network of Chambers of Commerce. Our purpose is to support, encourage and promote business vitality in the greater Whanganui region. The Chamber has a local focus, supporting businesses in the Whanganui region and we provide services and training that help businesses prosper in the 21st century. We are collaborative, building partnerships and networks across the region, nationally and globally to connect businesses and we promote lean business principles, helping businesses do more with less. Chamber membership offers regional and national businesses the chance to network and connect with a broad range of potential customers and suppliers, through a variety of events.
