Wheaton College Student Managed Investment Fund (formerly known as Investment Club) was founded in 2001 and restructured in 2015. The Investment Fund currently holds around $100,000 in endowment funding on behalf of Wheaton College.The Fund has two goals: (I.) Educate members through the training program, stock presentations, and alumni events in order to prepare them for the world of finance and investing.(II.) Achieve above-market returns (S&P 500 is our benchmark).Currently, Student Managed Investment Fund has 40 analysts placed in 7 portfolios. Each portfolio is headed by a portfolio manager who leads the team in researching companies and presenting "buy", "sell", and "hold" pitches each semester to the Fund.
