Founded in 2010. Wheelchair Personalities™ is the maker of the popular wheelchair back covers. The creation of the product was born out of the owners' volunteer activity in their local Honor Flight program - a national network of local non-profit organizations, funded through donations, which fly WWII veterans, at no cost to them, to Washington, D.C. to view their memorial. As many of these aging American heroes were dependent on wheelchairs, the owners created a method by which their wheelchairs could be easily marked so as to better identify them to other travelers as the Great Americans that they are. The covers were donated and tried and tested for one year (used during seven flights) prior to starting our company. The response from the veterans and the public along the way was amazing! Our patent-pending product is known for its unique ability to customize wheelchairs in a variety of applications. Wheelchair Personalities™ has been quite successful in introducing a totally new and unique way of personalizing wheelchairs to bring various messages of a marketing or identity strategy and allowing users of wheelchairs to extend their personal identity and character to others at minimal cost.
