As a professional speaker, I inspire and motivate people to make more out of their lives. My philosophy is that everyone can become a winner in life by "Playing The Cards You're Dealt", no matter how challenging a hand you may have. I share stories from my life coping with the disability I was born with to have a successful education, working life and to take on "out of comfort zone" challenges like fire walking on my hands. I work towards making the World more accessible for disabled people and other people with physical challenges through training programmes I run to help an organisation's staff and the general public to "Appreciate Life with a Physical Disability". It also aims to instill a positive attitude towards disability. I established International Wheelchair Day on 1st March 2008, where wheelchair users all over the World celebrate the freedom the wheelchair has given to their lives. Activities and events have taken place over the years since in Australia, Nepal, Senegal, South Africa, the UK and USA. It's growing in popularity every year. I support businesses, charities and other organisations to help promote their products, services and events aimed at helping disabled people. I've developed a vast international contact base through my WheelchairSteve brand which can be of great value to organisations.
