We humans have always discovered any kind of media whether books, movies or music by word of mouth and in the absence of a product like WhichApp also, the way people discover apps is social recommendations (second only to Search on appstores). We believe social recommendations have to be at the center of the solution and not a side-feature to the discovery process. WhichApp automates the word of mouth between friends, using phone book as the social graph but keeping the user experience and privacy needs at the center of the solution. WhichApp also help users manage and optimize smartphone performance with an inbuilt battery saver and other such utilities.
