WHIP-Whistle for Public Interest is a group of law students and young lawyers, founded in 2015 by two law students- Paras Jain & Kumar Shanu. The group has been working consistently in the field of right to information, judicial reforms. environment, consumer protection, education.Law students get to learn & to practice litigation skills-research, drafting and representation under the direct supervision of lawyers. While working on real issues of public interest, Students benefit the society at a larger level. This helps in achieving the prime purpose of legal clinical education i.e. learning by doing.WHIP has been active in assisting the Supreme Court of India and High Courts in matters of public interest. For its significant contribution to society since 2015, many successful stories of WHIP law students have been recognised by the leading newspapers.WHIP welcomes law students to bring the change from wherever they are.
