Whisperr is a radically different dating app because it is the only one that focuses on voice. Because it is based on audio profiles, it maintains the ease and speed that other apps have, but provides incomparably more information than an average online dating profile (5X more information than a photo). Voice provides information in the way that neither speaker nor listener are aware of, but which leads to the unmistakable conclusion "I like this person" or "I don't like this person". Voice adds more intimate, yet comfortable dimension to the initial contact in online-dating environment.Including voice is an important step because it introduces the element that is usually missing in online environment which is nonverbal communication. As Albert Mehrabian's rule of personal communication says: three elements account differently for our liking for the person, words account for 7%, tone of voice accounts for 38%, and body language accounts for 55% of the liking. Users on Whisperr have 45% of the information when they first hear a profile, whereas users on standard apps only get to that level usually only after they meet, because the communication before meeting is usually reduced to texts. This means we are saving our users from bad dates and allowing them to assess people more accurately before matching with them.Also, because the voice is unique for every individual it helps users stand apart and enables them to show their personality in a more natural way. This means that Whisperr offers an alternative to the swiping culture, hook-up culture, and superficial photo-orientated culture, dominating the online-dating scene of today, causing a lot of dissatisfaction among users.
