Whitbarrow enjoys one of the most picturesque locations in England's glorious Lake District, yet is conveniently situated just 15 minutes' drive from Junction 40 of the M6 motorway. The resort features 45 conversions from the original 18th-century natural stone farm buildings, 59 newly built stone-faced lodges, a cobbled village street, and a restaurant. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments have every modern comfort, yet each retains its historical character. The Leisure Club includes a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, pool, and crazy golf. The hotel makes for the ideal holiday accommodation for many with its luxuriously decorated suites and stunning views. All of our suites are modern, spacious and comfortable, providing sheer bliss to all who stay. We have great dining options to choose from the onsite Eden Bar and Restaurant where we serve a range of locally sourced culinary delights, or you can have pizza delivered to your suite after a busy day! The property itself has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and steam room for guests to relax and reminisce of the day's activities. The hotel is within close proximity to many leisure activities and events, such as outdoor activity centres, climbing walls, theatres and more. We are also a great base for a variety of woodland walks and bicycle trails which we can advise of at reception.
