White Rata provides top quality pure-bred Angus Beef and carefully selected Romney Lamb directly from our family farm. We are located about 30 minutes Northwest of Hamilton set amongst Waikato hill country - definitely not your typical Waikato dairy flats!We have been a family farm since 1958 and pride ourselves in bringing you high quality food through understanding our land and farming extensively rather than intensively. White Rata has been farmed organically for over 35 years, being one of the first organic Beef and Lamb farms in Aotearoa. As a family, we have been bought up to question where our food comes from, who grows it, and what has been used in the process. At White Rata we are proud to easily answer all those questions.
