ASLI is part of the White Ribbon movement, which is the largest movement in the world of men and boys working to end violence against women and girls, as well as promote gender equality, healthy gender relations and a new vision of masculinity.At the core of our vision is the desire to create a future free of violence against women and girls and of all forms of gender-based violence. ASLI works to encourage boys and men to make a clear and distinct voice against the phenomenon of violence against women, girls and boys / girls of all genders, and to work for its prevention and reduction in their immediate environment and in society as a whole.The organization focuses on spreading messages of gender equality to the male population in Israel and mobilizing them to fight violence against women. Our ambition is to reach as many boys and men as possible through mass communication, social networks, protest and information activities and targeted education workshops. This is in order to expose them to the scope and severity of the problem, clarify to them the connection between various phenomena such as harassment and sexual assault and domestic violence to how we grow up and be educated to "be men" in our society and culture, and encourage them to be part of the solution and join the fight.
