Andrew Whitney started Wear-Knot as a small company offering leather goods to discerning customers. He grew up on a farm in Argentina where his father bred polo ponies. At an early age, he began to help training polo ponies and later played at the Hurlingham Club in Buenos Aires. His passion for leather goods stems from these beginnings, as well as family associations with leather companies that produce high quality handmade saddles, bridles and riding boots, in addition to bags, gloves and belts.Wear Knot is a means by which he can share his enthusiasm for these exceptional high quality products with customers who expect nothing but the finest design and quality. His international travel has exposed him to a world of luxury leather goods. His desire is to produce fine handcrafted items in a cost effective way so that customers may enjoy these products for many years. They do not grow old; they develop a patina with age. Wear-Knot products are designed and crafted under his personal supervision.
