Whoop is a social map. It allows you to capture your unique experiences, and share them with the people around you, on an interactive map. It’s the quickest way to know what is happening around you, right now. We built Whoop to help our users discover their surroundings in a new lively way, without interfering to much in daily routines. Having this information at your fingertips gives the user the power to stay flexible, and make more spontaneous decisions. In order to launch the app, and to generate meaningful content, we will focus on millennials. A large portion of this network will be university students, and young professionals who have an active lifestyle, are outgoing, and are enjoy new experiences. A Critical factor to our success is gaining traction and growing a densely populated user base in at least one region, to further develop the functionality of the app.
