Whynought is New York based interdisciplinary interior design studio founded by Hyemin Choi. We specialize in designing hotels, luxury residential and commercial projects. Whynought's design is guided by its designers' extensive experience in high end hospitality and residential projects and belief in the infinite possibility of each space to tell its own story. Each project is executed in close engagement with the client from conceptual development to final installation.Each designer's distinct and rich design backgrounds delineate the studio's multifaceted design approach. We are a tight knit team of designers, architects, artists, curators and product designer that collaborates as a single unit to arrive at the most relevant and inspiring design solutions. Whynought believes that the DNA of each space is embodied in its region and culture.
