Since its foundation in 1979, Widap has been able to expand its field of activity in the area of electrical engineering through several successful company takeovers.Today we offer customised solutions and products in the following areas:• Resistor technology• Railway technology• Power distribution technology• Measuring technology• Reactive power compensation technology• Motor protection technologyOur strengths are engineering, analysis and development of innovative new products, systems and customised applications. We produce small or medium-sized series at our headquarters in Switzerland. Larger series can be manufactured at our subsidiary S.I.R. Resistor in Italy in the usual high quality.Widap is a regionally anchored Swiss SME with a strong international orientation and a global network of customers, suppliers and distributors. Our customers are located in over 60 different countries worldwide. This enables our around 40 employees in Switzerland to expand their intercultural skills in varied and challenging activities.
