Wide Open Adventure- Colorado is a fun, responsible company specializing in premium, personalized group tours for friends, families, corporate outings, reunions, weddings- you name it! Our goal is to show you the best of what Colorado has to offer on your Wide Open Adventure, which includes transportation and all the gear you will need. We believe in connecting you with a great adventure, not hidden charges.Founded by Greg Books, who started guiding Colorado rivers in 1997 and then spent the next twelve years broadening his skills and horizons internationally, Wide Open Colorado is a home for all-star guides who form a well rounded team that is ready to deliver your specialty trip. Please feel free to request your perfect trip and guide; it is why we're here!We love our outdoor playground, made Colorado our home, and are committed to showing you the best it has to offer, as well as your kids, and their kids, too! Accordingly, we seek the greenest practices possible in everything we do. We use Natural Gas Vehicles for all of our Denver and Idaho Springs excursions, and a flexible fuel vehicle for longer trips.Most of our clients leave their Colorado adventure wanting more. Fortunately, we offer rafting, camping and outdoor survival training in the world's great places, from half-day trips to multi-week Patagonian expeditions!
