Waste/Recycling/Environmental - Portland, ME, US
A nonprofit organization based in Portland, Maine, Wild Seed Project (WSP) works to increase the use of native plants in all landscape settings in order to conserve biodiversity, encourage plant adaptation in the face of climate change, safeguard wildlife habitat, and create pollination and migration corridors for insects, birds, and other wildlife. WSP shares information and brings people together around native plant conservation and horticulture through our interactive website and annual magazine, Wild Seed. We also ethically collect and sell seeds of wild and uncultivated forms of native plants through our online seed sale, and educate the public on propagation techniques for native plants at a variety of events.
