Wilde Carter Clack (formally Carter Clack) was established in 1979 and has undertaken a wide variety of projects in most sectors. The projects have primarily been associated with building structures but have included associated roads, bridges, underground drainage, flood risk assessments, transportation assessments and infrastructure work. A large proportion of our work has been associated with Schools, Universities and Housing Associations and we have a long standing relationship with many of these clients. We currently have framework contracts with UCL, LSE, Kingston University, Kent, Medway, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and London Borough of Newham. The projects have been both new build and refurbishment of existing buildings. The constructions have been carried out in a wide variety of materials including concrete, steel, composite construction, timber frame, laminated timber and traditional masonry. We have a special knowledge of restoration of existing buildings and the work necessary to repair the existing structures and provide a good future life. We have investigated over 100 tower blocks for various clients and carried out strengthening and repair work and over cladding to more than 50 of these buildings. Improving the energy efficiency of existing structures has been a major part of our work for the past 15 years.
