The Wildlife Resources and Education Network is an initiative to raise the standard of care and connect the world of wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. We believe that wildlife rehabilitation in a benevolent act making up for the negative impact we as humans have on wildlife. Wildlife rehabbers typically do this out of pocket and don't always have the time to build strong community ties. Without the necessary monetary resources and community backing, it is a constant struggle to provide optimal care to injured wildlife. WREN was created to change this giving rehabilitators the means to provide the utmost care. Our goal is to enable humans to interact with injured wildlife in a responsible and rewarding manner. With this goal in mind, we connect the entire process from the time an injured animal is found until it is ready to be released back into the wild. We will accomplish this by providing an all-encompassing transport network (hotline plus ambulatory service), free medical database, continuing education and training, and monetary and tangible resources among many other benefits. All of this will be at no cost to those that are involved in the process. We can make up for the considerable impact our actions have on wildlife and contribute to the magnitude of that process. We are eager to collaborate and create meaningful partnerships with others working towards the same goal. We desire to guide and join together all rehabilitators, veterinarians, biologists, and any that have an appreciation for and aspire to create a better world for our wildlife. WREN will begin operations in early 2016 and will begin pre-booking consultations in fall 2015. Robert Jones CEO Liz Crandall COO wrencertified.com www.facebook.com/WREN911
