With about 300 beds and 1200 employees is WZA, according to the national standards, a medium-sized hospital. In 2013 WZA received nearly 203,000 outpatient visitors. In addition there were 24,500 recordings, of which ca. 11,500 day care. The WZA is a progressive hospital that adjusts its care to the patient and actively collaborates with other healthcare providers. The direct access of hospital care, care in nursing homes and non-hospital care leads to rapid flow and short waiting times. In the region WZA wants to excel in hospitality and service.
