As an independent financial advisor and consultant, William H. Black has served large and small clients throughout the nation and the world for more than 25 years from his home base in Atlanta, Georgia and a satellite office in Oxford, Mississippi. He has worked with manufacturers, health care and other service firms, governments and public sector entities, retailers, distributors, and numerous other clients to analyze complex financial situations and work effectively to their resolution. Black has served as a court-appointed neutral auditor and valuator, and has testified in Federal and State courts as an expert accountant and business valuation specialist. He is one of the founders of the Academy for Ethics in Financial Reporting, and serves as project leader for a joint American Accounting Association / AICPA task force considering restructuring accounting education in the United States.
