William Henry Felinski is an American hybrid artist, sculptor and installation artist. His work is influenced by both conceptualism and minimalism, and has dealt with perceptions and the physicality of time, ideas of permanence, and random outcomes. William is generating immersive and participatory new-media projects that pair found objects, electronics, and formal sculpture elements into DIY-art-manufacturing installations. The installations yield tangible and intangible outcomes –– through user and material inputs controlling the processes and behavior –– 3D artifacts or 2D compositions which the installations produce and non-physical artifacts such as documentation, memory, and viewership of the installations working as a performance. William's practice explores art and form making as a laborer who integrates advanced digital and analog methods of fabrication to question the porous boundaries and contemporary intersections of art, business, design, and architecture.
