Wilson Adaptive Technologies (WAT) designs portable Roll-In showers that will make showering affordable and accessible to thousands of people with limited mobility. We began our startup journey with a partnership with Wayne State University and TechTown Detroit in 2017. Together we work to engineer the most affordable and adaptive showers for caregivers and care seekers worldwide. Wilson Adaptive Technology makes the only truly Adaptive Showers customized to Caregivers and those living with disabilities or limited mobilityOur showers can be adapted to meet your accessibility and affordability needs. ACCESSIBLE:The WAT showers are designed to exceed A.D.A. (American Disability Act) standards. They are robustly engineered to be the only products to meet the needs of users and care providers, with 360-degree access for care providers to help with hygiene without stepping into the shower. For users, it is easy to enter, extremely sturdy, and full of features that help people safely enjoy a shower. We pride ourselves in our accessible designs. ADAPTABLE: The WAT showers are adaptable technologies, meaning they are designed to help users and caregivers meet hygiene needs in the specific living conditions of people living with disabilities or with limited mobility. The showers are modular from the base-up so they can be broken down, and stored in tight spaces. They are leakproof with heat and shut of sensors to keep people safe while they get clean, in in almost any living space.AFFORDABLE:The showers are priced at nearly half the price of our competitors. We can do this because of the support of research and development teams at Wayne State University and TechTown — and we do it because we care. Access to hygiene is a right. Our company mission is to make health and hygiene affordable for users with limited-mobility who do not have means to remodel or purchase expensive roll-in showers currently on the market.
