The vast majority of wind turbines today aren't able to adjust to wind changes and gusts until after winds arrive. That reduces energy production and the life of major components like gearboxes and blades. Available methods for providing wind preview alerts are very expensive and not widely deployed. Windscape.ai will provide a 10x breakthrough in cost and effectiveness with 10- to 60-second preview alerts of of actual wind changes enabling operators to optimize the turbines' pitch, yaw and torque settings for maximum energy capture and longer life.We do this with AI processing of data from an ultra-low-cost, WIFI mesh network of sensors across and surrounding the wind farm with zero impact on turbines or operations.
