In 2013, a group of outstanding women from Southern California construction companies and related fields joined together to start a group geared towards mentoring women working in the operation side of construction. This group spans across several general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and includes owner's reps and the CM branch as well.We call it Women in Construction Operations, or WiOPS . The board members have met throughout the year to set up events that will support the goals and mission of this group.
