Wireless Center of North Carolina is a non-profit center enabling research, development and testing of current and next generation wireless antenna technologies. The Center, located in Wake Forest, NC will be a national destination for antenna development and related research and testing that requires specialized facilities coupled with applied and theoretical expertise.The Center will support RD&T of wireless antenna technology in following industries: Telecommunications, Government, and MedicalMissionTo promote economic development in North Carolina by offering access to specialized facilities and expertise required by commercial, government and academic users and not available elsewhere in the state. ■Serving as a hub for job creation and retention around the growing field of wireless and antenna technology for communications, medical and military use.■Serving as a catalyst for university research initiatives in wireless and antenna technology by providing cost-effective ready access to test labs and expertise that will make area universities more competitive when seeking government and commercial research grants and in the commercialization of technology.
