WishList SEO (Southeast Oakville) is a group of individuals that dedicate volunteering hours to build community, support local businesses, and ultimately raise funds for local charities. In 2017, our first event, "Moms night of shopping", raised $1,400 for two charities that are breaking the poverty cycle: Food4Kids Halton and Kerr Street Missions. In 2018, the second event surpassed our goal and raised $2,700 for SafetyNet, Home Suite Home, and Food4Kids Halton. When the covid pandemic hit in 2020, we shifted to a 100% Digital/Virtual holiday event and raised $16,000 (combined $s and value-in-kind) for Home Suite Hope and Food4Kids Halton. By Spring 2022 we returned to in-person with our first Easter Egg Hunt, which raised $2,700 for Red Cross Ukraine. WishList is currently planning a Black Tie Gala event in November 2022 benefiting ROCK (Reach out Center for kids) and LightHouse for Grieving Children and Families.
