We talk openly and address conflicts and social issues that many people tend to avoid because it is perceived as overwhelming, anxiety provoking, or intense. Here at Wit & Reason, we understand that shying away from issues like racism, sexual assault, harassment, prejudice, suicide, human trafficking, violence, severe mental illness, and substance abuse (etc.) is a detrimental privilege that our society can no longer accept. And guess what? Conversations, education, and practical applications for these issues don't have to be painful and hopeless, just meaningful.
