Solaga UG is a German start-up, a spin-off of the Humboldt University of Berlin. Our team develops robust microalgae systems to improve air quality and to realise decentralized power generation.Our biogas production process has already been patented. The technology was developed at HU-Berlin and a prototype was completed on a laboratory scale. The process is currently being brought to the market. For our project, the Solaga team works closely with experts from Humboldt University Berlin and KTH Stockholm.In 2017, KIC InnoEnergy GmbH was welcomed as first investors.GASAG AG also supports Solaga in the implementation of field trials for the application of the technology as a novel algae facade.
