Some may say the task of parenting has gotten more complicated in recent times, but the truth is that the major thing we are missing is each other! Studies show that births of any outcome are most satisfying when attended by a support person offering continuous one-to-one emotional care. And a lack of social support puts many new parents at risk for postpartum depression. We need each other. We need to hear, value, and understand each other. We need to connect and not compete with other parents in our community.It's this deep need for community support and mentoring that led to the creation of With U Parenting.We seek to provide encouragement, training, and resources. We work to equip confident, connected families with the tools they need for stronger, healthier relationships. We are in this together -- from birth to teens -- with classes, doula services, parenting workshops, and support groups.
