Passionate About Our CommunityWollongong Wolves Football Club was formed in 1980 and we have been proudly representing the Illawarra and South Coast regions of NSW for over 37 years. We are a very successful, strong, passionate club with the strongest junior nursery and development area across Australia. Many of our players have grown from here to represent in the A League, play for Australia and become professionals overseas. Our area is the only region to have ever had 3 juniors represent Australia in a World Cup Tournament game.The club now has a new management structure in place with very exciting, realistic and achievable goals for the future. Our presence and fan base is very strong across the entire South Coast of NSW, from Helensburgh right through to Eden and in fact right across the country and even internationally. Our region is one of the fastest growing and prosperous areas in Australia and will grow quite significantly particularly over the next few years.The Wollongong Wolves have a far stronger focus on our juniors and far reaching and encompassing Community Engagement Programs. We also have some very exciting development opportunities and plans revolving around our new facility at Albert Butler Memorial Oval, Kemblawarra for some much needed additional grounds and infrastructure across our region.The Wolves currently play in the NSW Premier League Men's 1 Competition and we are preparing a submission for inclusion in the expansion talks for the Hyundai A League. We have a very, very strong proposal to put forward already and there has been a great support for a Wollongong based Wolves team to participate in our national league. Wollongong Wolves Football Club has been around since 1980 and we're really proud of our community. We're a strong and passionate club that's produced a lot of great players who've gone on to play professionally in Australia and overseas. Our area is special because we've had three players represent Australia in a World Cup game. We've got new leaders in place now and we're excited about our future. We're popular across the South Coast of NSW and beyond, and our region is growing fast. We care a lot about our young players and want to help them succeed. We also want to improve our facilities and make sure our community has everything it needs.
