Women Building Change (WBC) is a company focused on the community of women in the industry of construction. Our mission is to provide training, education, support and various other services to women who work in the construction industry and related fields. To be a clearinghouse of information and resources that support women who are interested in seeking opportunities in the construction industry and/or wish to advance their leadership roles and contributions within the industry. We believe that construction IS women's work and we believe that women participating and leading in the industry is key to its transformation. [Today, the number one crisis in the construction industry is a lack of workforce, and yet women make up only 9% of that workforce, even though women make up 47% of the total US workforce.]
