Women & Enterprise co-ordinates and delivers business supportto help women be successful in the labour market. We:• Stimulate the development of new businesses to helpwomen into work through the co-ordination andstreamlining of existing enterprise support services and,where appropriate, deliver new gender-specific support• Focus support within communities where women aredemonstrably distanced from accessing the labourmarket through traditional recruitment routes• Encourage the growth of existing women owned enterprises byimproving business confidence and encouraging investment• Create local job opportunities• Explore and promote the potential for women-ledsocial enterprises to create employment and addressservice or market gaps in key communities• Develop measures to address barriers to enterprise forwomen including access to finance – including Halalfinance for Islamic communities – and their vocationaland generic business up-skilling requirements• Develop business networking opportunitiesand showcase good practice.Women & Enterprise operates the Women's EnterpriseHub, Sparkbrook and is managed by iSE.
