Women in Transition, Inc. provides a holistic approach to transitioning out of foster care through the renewal of Spirit and Mind by promoting spiritual, emotional, physical and financial wellness. The program is designed for teenage girls in foster care, ages 18 through 21, to understand their needs and to build upon their strengths. The program consists of a 11 week personal development curriculum where the young women create a Personal Development Plan that is followed with close case management and mentoring until they transition out of care. Women In Transition, Inc. assist young women to embrace the transitioning process and to exit foster care equipped to live healthy independent lives.Women in Transition, Inc. is a 501c3 organization supported by individual donations.
