Women Uninterrupted is an event for a bold new audience. The event was founded in 2015, by Carla Sorey-Reed, an executive speaking coach who has worked with leading technology CEOs, TED talkers, authors, and social innovators throughout the Bay Area for over 15 years. Designed to upend the current conference paradigm, Women Uninterrupted focuses on creating meaningful connections between speakers and audience to encourage real change and honest conversations. The Women Uninterrupted event on December 8, 2015 will showcase both proven leaders and emerging voices, recapturing the power of language and storytelling. Unlike many conferences, the agenda and audience of Women Uninterrupted has been carefully curated to encourage two-way mentoring across generations, bringing together baby boomers and millennials, matching wisdom and experience with agility and digital prowess. The event will feature audacious voices -- known and emerging, funny, poignant and powerful -- who will reveal unexpected truths about what concerns women in 2015: - Should we lean in? Lean out? Lean on? - Does competition bond us or divide us? - How do we define -- or even re-define -- success? - The power in female friendship: Who's got your back? - We're all so serious! Doesn't it feel good to laugh at ourselves occasionally?
