HISTORY:The Women's Advocacy Club (WAC) is a club that was founded at Alliant International University – Los Angeles Campus in 2013.MISSION STATEMENT: WAC aims to support all work that has made an impact in our world and hope to come together to fight the issues that prevail in our lives today. We focus on empowering and educating women and men from all walks of life so that we can then turn our attention to cultural, social and relational issues that are important to everyone's well being.VISION:As our global WAC organization continues to grow, we hope to connect with more like-minded people to raise importance to gender and social justice issues. We envision that gender related topics will be more openly and comfortably addressed in regular daily conversations in order to diminish stigma, stereotyping, harassment, and taboo.VALUES:Respect.
