The Women's Coalition of Motorcyclists is the first-ever unified group poised specifically to grow the number of women motorcyclists. Our goal is to double our numbers by 2020.From riding to competing to working in the motorcycle industry, the Women's Coalition of Motorcyclist (WCM) wants all current and future female motorcyclists to know there is a place for them. Partnering with the motorcycle industry and press to grow the ranks of female riders, WCM will also help grow the ranks of motorcyclists overall. Steady growth in the motorcycle industry creates a win/win scenario for all involved. Uniting female riders and their advocates under one umbrella will create a stronger voice with far greater influence. The overall goals of WCM include: Rider support by providing scholarships to female competitors in all motorcycle disciplines and train-the-trainer programs for road, dirt and track instructors. Encourage diversity in our ranks by supporting under-represented communities of female riders. Dealer support by providing training tools to create a more female-friendly atmosphere. Charitable assistance to Riders for Health (www.riders.org).In order to achieve these goals, we seek the support of the motorcycle industry and allied motorcycle press, along with other publications, to promote our organization and participate in developing a more sustainable community of motorcyclists. This effort will encourage younger females to become riders, support existing female riders, and promote the growth of multi-generational families of riders. As we grow, more and more opportunities will arise for us to help our fellow female riders. Your support will be critical to our success.
