WDUSA is a proved leader in establishing International Women's Day in the USA, an organization committed to building awareness of women's achievements and their struggles for equality by promoting the observation and recognition of "International Women's Day." It's founder - Beata Pozniak, known as a human right's activist, spearheaded the introduction of the first bill in the history of the U.S. Congress (H.J. Res. 316) to recognize International Women's Day in the United States. She continues to promote education and awareness of women's issues worldwide through her organization Women's Day USA. She is committed to promoting the stories of strong women through writing, film, art and audiobooks.
