Our mission is to advance the educational attainment and economic security of women and girls in Southeastern Massachusetts.The Women's Fund, an endowed fund of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts, is a fundraising organization with a mission to advance the educational attainment and economic security of women and girls in Southeastern Massachusetts. The Women's Fund was initiated in 2000 with a founding donation by a local judge. As a young single parent she had benefitted from a supportive communal living situation which allowed her to continue in school. She envisioned creating a permanent resource for women and girls to help them overcome barriers to receiving the education and life skills they need to become contributing members of the community.
