WISE is a Network of experienced Gender Analysts working internationally on Gender, Human Rights and Sustainable Development for just, prosperous and inclusive societies.Our mission is to contribute to lasting sustainable development by creating and catalysing impactful alliances between global leading experts, young talents & organisations working in the field of gender & human rights. From the individual to the political & from a glocal perspective, we ground ourselves in the premise that fulfilling the right to Gender Equality is the essential condition to meeting the most pressing challenges of our time, from economic, political & social crisis, to climate change and escalating conflicts.We center our work around the complex, cumulative manner in which the effects of different forms of discrimination combine, overlap, or intersect. We listen to and include all groups of women and their multi-layered facets & experiences of life in the overall debate to envision prosperous inclusive societies & just, peaceful and democratic institutions .The WISE Network consists of experienced in-house staff members and a larger group of associated (gender) experts with a wide variety of know-how & specialties.WISE project management includes technical & administrative backstopping of our experts as well as quality control of outputs.The Project Manager of WISE monitors the overall work & our financial performance in adherence to our principles.
