Women's Legal Service (SA) was established on the 04th of October 1995 and is a state-wide community based organisation run by a management committee, staff and volunteers.Women's Legal Service (SA) focuses on assisting women with legal information, advice, representation, referrals and education on a wide range of issues including domestic violence, family law, criminal injuries compensation, discrimination, employment, debts, and immigration. Every year the Women's Legal Service (SA) Inc. provides advice to over two thousand women.Women's Legal Service (SA) is a member of Women's Legal Services Australia (WLSA). Women's Legal Service (SA) also retains an active membership with the South Australian Council of Community Legal Services (SACCLS), and is a member of the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC). NACLC represents over 200 community legal centres across Australia.The Women's Legal Service (SA) is a non-profit organisation and operates by funding received from the Australian Attorney-General's Department and donations.The vision of Women's Legal Service (SA) is "Achieving justice for women."
